Hi Everyone,

I have to postpone the spanner day... WHICH SUCKS!

This is because my daily driver/family wagon is causing problems and I am unable to afford to repair that and get parts AND shout everyone beers and food.

I'm sorry to cause disruption, especially for those of you intending to help me out.

That's a shame Kylie. Why not skip out on some of the food/beer and throw you other wagon into the fix-up pool. I'll bet most people would be more than happy to come lend a hand without being compensated with 'treats'.

You never said you were contemplating coming. I'd pay for you to come over and do it with me. Would make things sooooo much easier!

Just spoke to my main hand and his next weekend off isn't until November 20th, which gives me AMPLE time to organise parts. My start buying a few each week instead of freaking about the bank balance when things go pear shaped.

Hi Everyone,

Time is getting very close for my second attempt to organise this DRAMA!

If anyone wants to come up for the weekend, I'm happy to put up my big tent, move the kids into one room, kit out the living room and make it a two day event. Feeding you guys for two days might be a bit of an issue, but we'll manage something. Maybe we could drive the neighbours nutty too eh? But seriously, if someone wants to get away for the weekend and they'd like to help me out, please do feel welcome.

So the engine swap itself, I am hoping to do on the Saturday and if we don't get the car going, then at least we got the engine in right? Of course, I'm hoping for at least a test drive by then end of the day.

Ok, so.... names please. Let me know if you are still coming!
