How effective is that rear diffuser?

I guess when you are running it through water or gravel you can actually see the affect it has on the air flow around the car. Like smoke testing in a wind tunnel.

That rear diffuser is pretty wicked. Not something to have on a road car but it looks like it can be bolted on/off easy enough.
