Would love to join you guys - but have already booked drive day + car trailer at Hampton Downs this Sunday so won't be able to make it.

Have a blast and will catch you on the next one :)

That was a great day out, thanks guys. How cool was that, the weather just got better and better...

Nice turn-out and as always exceptionally good company on such a brilliant day. We said "good-bye" to winter in style!

Wardy was there in his red rocket-ship SW.

Jamie and Mike were there in cars that like mine were simply AWesome.

Clive brought the blue two, complete with co-driver Alex.
It was duly noted that Alex was constrained in an enclosure whose label seemed to say "I am cat food"...
Good job cats can't read.

Levi and Keri showed us how good SW's can look dressed in dark metallic green. Here's one example, though the photo really doesn't do the colour justice at all...

Nick's SW is under (re) construction (I know how that feels) so he brought his Mid engined Rear wheel drive 2 wheeler...

Rodney has too many MR2's to choose from but sadly none are road legal (race / rally cars) so he decided to show us how it's done in a Madaz 2. I must say I had a good laugh following him for a bit late in the run. Might be a humble vehicle but the man does know how to drive.

And Chris aka Pommy turned up in his M3. I'm very much hoping he's going to re-acquire that stunning SW of his and get it back into action...

Here we are at Muriwai.

It was a good day out and a fitting way to say "bugger off" to winter, and "woohoo summer".

Thanks for rocking up fellas. Here's to a lot more good times this summer too!

100+ MR2OCNZ runs and counting... When going hard, good rubber's your best protection against unwanted accidents. Buy good tyres!
When you're nearing the end of the drag-strip and you have no 'chute, you may as well keep your foot to the floor... Live life. There ain't no second pass.

It was great catching up with you guys again, always fun.

it was a gamble coming as.... I wanted to watch the Parker fight first! was a blast in the M3.

but admit probably more fun in the mr2, who knows whether I will get another mr2. One way to test your marriage I guess lol!

nice to see your car complete again Wardy.

hopefully catch you on the next run cheers.

It's not the size of the motor that counts, It's how you use it.
