I personally wont be entering. I think it would be ideal for AW11's to enter.
If someone with an AW would be keen on taking on the role of organizing it, thats great. I may go to the show, but at this stage im working.
If not, i will arrange a club stand but like i said, may not be there.

We do have to get onto entering ASAP if people are keen.

I'm in CJ . And there's a few good AWs in the club. I always go to this show anyway so no probs. The MR-S though is also regarded as a classic so maybe a Spyder as well would be a good idea.Anyway let me know .

I'm happy to assist in any way Mike.

I reckon as a start we aim for one of each generation (depending on how many cars we are allowed to display)

I think the 'concours' nature of the show would best suit the tidiest original versions of each we can find?
Different audience to the 4s and Rotarys etc..

Hi I agree .Theres some pretty good AW11s in the club (yours is one of the best) and plenty of SW20 .We just need to find standard ones .Lets make a list.

Your Spyder is really tidy and there's probably some other tidy ones of them too. Anyway thanks for the offer to help im grateful.

let's keep talking.Pity Mr Shiny isn't still in Auckland. We will need to think about detailing closer to the time,

The AW I have is mostly stock but probably not show car considering the duct tape lip, missing decals and holes in the bootlid. Maybe ask TNR nicely, his is in very good shape

Don't get your undies in a bunch about the concourse. There are a few sections to the show. There is a concourse for
really good concourse cars. The other sections are the club displays which are the clubs chances to get new members and
display the cars. This is the section where we can get most bang for our Buck.A good display could really be good for us.

There's also a section called survivors which is for "works in progress" and old roughies. Sounds like this is you Michael.LoL

I think there's a chance for everyone who wants to be involved.Even ifits just talking to people about our cars. so if you want to be involved I'll add you to the list.

I could be keen for this - can throw on clean stock 15" wheels and It'll be a nice looking Gen 3 Sw for you all. Has some mods in engine bay such as Intercooler and ARC intake. I'll tidy up engine bay this weekend to see how it ends up.

Happy New Year. I hope you had a great one. This looks even better. I am working on this show for the club at the moment. This is just a heads up reminder. We are going to need at least 6 cars for the stand. ideally A couple of each type.

There is a theme of the show "Woman and the Marque" which we could embrace. If we can get some Girly 2'sthat would be cool
(Sweetmelly are you out there.) The pink Spyder is way cool.If we don't embrace the theme then we just put in our cars and do some creative thinking.

We can do a " non judged stand" which would still be good and we wouldn't need to theme up.?

Check out concours.org.nz for details on what we need to do

I'm open to suggestions .

also for you garage queens (Udj im talking to you ),we need a couple in the concourse if anyone wants to enter. let me know.

There's also a masters class for individuals

Anyways mark it in your Diaries and watch this space .Give me any feedback or ideas.

And hey " out of towners if you want to be involved even if it's just working on the stand let me know. Also if you want accomodation might be able to do something or arrange a billet for you.

Hey Brae we might need some tips to whip any concours cars into shape. Don't suppose your coming up this way soon ?

Ok club there are 85 car clubs in this show which is a biggie. They get thousands of people through it each year.Check it out at http://www.concours.org.nz There are only 3 Japanese Marques represented at the show and being asked is
testament to our cars are now regarded as "classics"and taken seriously

We have been allocated 6 car spaces and I have gone for a "non judged" stand so we are not under too much pressure.

So we need 6 really tidy non molested MR2s to display

so i am thinking Aw11- Joel. And. ............
Sw20- Levi. And ".............
ZZ30. Joel ( If it's not sold).........................

Hey Ivor. - What about your Spyder with the leather trim and new wheels? Anyone else have a really nice Spyder?

There are lots of really nice cars in the club and this is our chance to share them with the public and hopefully attract
Some new members.

The biggest thing is the cleaning of them and I'm working on that to see if we can get some help.

Also check out the Tours section on the concours site. .You might like to drive in in one of these...... Your car only has to be clean for this part and it's fun they are great cruises. You will all get free McGuires goodies as well.

what about some of you Out of Towners .

We also need at least 3 sets of ramps and people to man the show so hurry up and contact me.
