E.O.I - V Fours and Rotary 27/28 Jan,2018
Hi Team.
Putting it out there.
Expressions of Interest please for entering the V fours and Rotary MR2 club stand next year.
Where: Greenlane ASB centre on the 27th** and ** Meremere dragstrip on the 28th.
When: Show and Shine 27th, (set up is on the 26th from lunchtime and you will need to be available for this). Meremere starts in the morning 28th.
Who: Anyone who wants to enter should have their car between good-awesome condition. Less condition should equal crazy mods. e.g engine transplants/rally car etc.
Please tell me what type of car you have (im likely to know, but hey..sometimes you guys have more than one...) and also if youd like to attend
the show and shine and/or the drag racing.
How: Taking expressions of interest at the moment. If theres 6 or less interested, club could likely fit the bill. If we have more, might look at a discounted price.
The more people that want in, the more you'd pay, up to $80 for the full price.
Why: I'd LOVE to try and win best club again. With memberships being a one off cost now, we always need to try and do what we can to generate new members.

I'll put my hand up as a back-up.
I think someone else should have a turn though as I've been in for the last few years and we should have some new cars to show!

Mmmm. Might be right.
Its a fair bit of effort for me for not much interest. See how next week or two goes.

I still don't have a car to show CJ, and as yours is out of action too at present I'd be fully ok with you not going ahead with this if you decide to flag it. It's a LOT of work and as you say if people aren't looking too keen then hey... But thanks to the guys that have said they'd be into it. Always appreciated! Goes for you too CJ whether this goes ahead or not mate.

100+ MR2OCNZ runs and counting... When going hard, good rubber's your best protection against unwanted accidents. Buy good tyres!
When you're nearing the end of the drag-strip and you have no 'chute, you may as well keep your foot to the floor... Live life. There ain't no second pass.

If your sitting on the fence and need numbers, I'm happy to prop you up. But the multi nights away from home are $$$.
I could do the show and shine, but my car's a 20ft'er. I might have to get some elbow grease onto the rims.
Deff could do the drags

Hi i just recently become a club member this week, but had decided i was going to 4 and rotary this year beforehand. I would definitely enter if my 21st birthday party wasnt that night and had to be back in hamilton by 5. Anyhow, i look forward to seeing some of your guys cars, and perhaps meeting some other club members. My '92 will probably be parked in the carparks lol

Appreciate your interest and also that your local.
We're not going to go in this year.
Its mostly me thats keen on the show and if my car wasnt broken id still be going regardless of interest.
But given my clutch needs work and the low level of interest this year we're going to leave it.
Take some photos though and we may look at one of their other events coming up.
