Thanks Charlie. Yup will certainly update on weather. Currently it looks like a bad weekend. DAMIT!
But it changes easy. And is often wrong. As well as different out in the country. I'll probably still be happy to do this if it's a lil moist. We will just cruze. But fingers crossed! And see you all at 10am, BP Drury SH1 carpark on Sunday!!! :D :D

I also found some spare stickers I can hand out to those that come along! :D

I can go in the AW!! Got the engine mount repair and wheel alignment done in time. I've been unable to drive it for too many weeks so I'm definitely going to be there tomorrow. Weather looks great too!

We'll be there, barring any unexpected developments. We may tag along near the tail end of things though as Isaac will be practicing driving a manual and this is an untested AW... With an engine that's done less than 50km and no wheel alignment as yet. Wish us luck!

Well we were all set to get going when I spotted a coolant leak from the radiator's drain plug. So much for that...

Have managed to refurbish the plug with a new seal made from bicycle inner tube and it seems to be holding with the engine sitting at idle. So the next test will be does it lose any coolant when driving? The scary thing about a leak from one of the drains or bleeders is that coolant disappears on the road while driving and you don't know anything about it until all hell breaks loose behind you and a great big cloud of steam fills the rear vision mirror (believe me, I know). Having just built this engine that is the last thing I want to see...!

Feeling a bit fluey today anyway so probably a good thing we didn't make it to the run.

I hope you guys have an AWesome day. Drive safe and have a blast. We'll catch up some other time. 8)

Thanks for joining me everyone! :D
A nice array of AWs SWs Zws. Man did I need a power nap when I got home!
Lots of fast Twisties. My car ran great! Probably the longest and hardest it's been abused for. And all my gauges were spot on all day. Although my fuel one was low on the way home! Had to top up again!
Shame you couldn't make it Charlie.

Does two hours sleep still qualify as a power nap?
Ha ha just woken up - but that's a sign of a good run :D
Thanks Mr-Paulio for showing us the roads in his neck of woods, thanks everyone for the company, it was a blast :)

Shame you couldn't make it Charlie and Isaac, hope the coolant plug seal holds up well!
