Arh, I just assumed the forum would reduce the size automatically. Like Facebook. But I didn't try enlarging the image first. Cheers! :D

Videos!!

Drag Racing with chief1eye and Wardy.....

Also a bit of on-board from my first time on the track. Practice session in the wet.....

And the first Race session, playing around with Wardy. Started to loose my front tires on this round. So taking the corners a bit easier than normal

Haha, flame thrower/tire shredder! Have to find some room on my credit card for new tires and a proper alignment before Chrome!

Yeah that drag racing was really interested. I really noticed the difference of the non LSD gearbox. Just couldn't get the power down, so launching was terrible. Hope to have the rebuilt LSD box in for Chrome. . . Wardy was caneing them up. Cant wait to see him open a can of whip ass on those EVO's! at Chrome

Ha ha great videos Paul. Nice. 8)
Good to see you guys had so much fun! Ivor driving around the outside on the sweeper was hard case to watch too. Just don't let oil starvation bite your engine on that corner though guys! Baffled sumps - or a half litre or more of over-filled oil - are a must.

100+ MR2OCNZ runs and counting... When going hard, good rubber's your best protection against unwanted accidents. Buy good tyres!
When you're nearing the end of the drag-strip and you have no 'chute, you may as well keep your foot to the floor... Live life. There ain't no second pass.

I took the corner at about 50ks. Waited till about halfway up the hill, then went off again. So far, no issues. The rest of the track was enough fun.

Got this action shot from a random photographer at the event, Beardie Photography. Check it out on FB, he got other MR2s as well!
I asked him to email me a full sized photo.

Yes Charlie, overfilled the sump by 1/2 a liter, with that sweeper in mind! But will look into modifying the oil pan, too. Not sure how best to do it.

Do 1zz’s have oil issues? Thought it was just a gen2 3S thing in MR2s.

Seen a few of them destroy themselves on that sweeper. Would not like to see that happen to Ivor's.
