Ah, it's a shame the events are on the same day and you can't make it Rodney! I would have been interested to see the hillclimb. Got a link to some info about it?
Unfortunately no link as such. It will be on the South Auckland Car club website somewhere.(http://www.sacc.co.nz) I was told by Facebook events. https://www.facebook.com/events/2245358298821572/

Are you skyving off Ivor? Only if you ride shotgun with Rodney in the hillclimb... Recommended.

Planning on attending the run to Pakiri. :D

BTW, the long term forecast is for dry weather from Friday to Tuesday so here's hoping Sunday being in the middle of that forecast we end up getting a dry day indeed!

Yep the weather looks MINT for this weekend so be there folks!

I'm planning on a wee test run Saturday morning and if everything passes inspection afterwards, I might even bring the red thing on this run. Should probably swap out the suspension for softer stuff before hitting those bumpy back roads but the weather's just looking too good.

I'll have to dig that info up Ivor - all I can say is they are track spring rates not pothole spring rates.

They are Kei Office coilovers. They work well above about 80kmh but are awful below that.
I have a set of BC Golds here that I might try yet as they have a wider range of adjustment I believe.

Anyway, test run completed. SW on ramps in shed cooling down. In a couple of hours' time I'll check everything's ok (nuts, bolts etc) and if so I'll drag it along tomorrow. See you guys there!

I'm gutted the car is all ready to go.....

Have an awesome time & see you guys on the next one.

Cheers.
