Yes good point Thomas. I think I have found us accomodation in whangamomena. I am just confirming. I agree that Ohura is a ghost town well. Nearly I mean they have a population of 62 or 63 when I'm in my house there. Just not sure if we have time to do it both ways but working on it here

Looks good to me. How many people are you expecting? I know the numbers drop a bit for these higher commitment runs but I suppose people can bring sleeping bags and stretchers if there are not enough beds.

I'll join where ever you happen to be passing Hamilton level. I'm not sure what your intended route is?

I would guess SH1 to taupiri, then ngaurawahia, SH39 to otorohanga, then SH3 followed by SH4 would be a direct and enjoyable route for you guys? I have done it a few times, good roads. There is a BP in taumarunui, good place to fill up.

Hey, doesn't seem to be a lot of interest here, but 2 of us will cruise up via Wanganui at this stage, leaving New Plymouth at 6am

Hi Mike,
Might not stay in Ohura as we have a dog that needs ointment in his eyes twice a day. If we do there are two of us.
For those from points south we will be leaving Otaki, from opposite the BP station, around 6:00 a.m. traveling via SH1 and SH3. If anyone wants to join us let Sue know (021 364 5549). We will ensure that we don't go without you.
For people north of Otaki who want to join us let Sue know. We can meet at Bulls we can text you when we are leaving Otaki.
Looking forward to carching up,
Keith

Hi keith

Sounds good > We are not actually staying in Ohura . We have a 5 bed 3 brdroom house between Whangamomena and close to Stratford so we get to drive the beautiful last part of the road in the morning if the Whanga festivities go on for a long time. Accommodation is there if you want it . it has an open fire and looks very cosy

Hi Mike,
Sue and I will be coming also.
Not sure about overnight though as we have a sick dog that needs medicine twice a day. If you are going through to Stratford to overnight then we will do so also but may decide to head home Saturday night, unless we can find someone to look after the dog.
