Wairarapa, Welly, Manawatu MR2 Run to Castlepoint 24th March

Post by Gaz007 »

Hi folks the next Wairarapa run is set for the 24th March, going to Castlepoint, via Whareama. Lunch at the local hotel. Meeting at the carpark of Pack N Save Masterton 10.30 am, time for a coffee from the Village Grinder Cafe then off to Castlepoint on a twisty quiet road :) Hotel bar meals are well priced or bring your lunch :D
Cheers Gary :D

I better not be on call that weekend ....

Welly guys should leave the SH2 Info Sign at 920am to make it to Masterton at 1030am

I can't say that the Rimutaka Hill being set on fire was ideal, but pleasant day regardless.

Not certain about the parking, but perhaps points could be allocated for keeping within the lines from now on ;)

The one day I'm almost glad I didn't make it due to the fire... ALMOST glad, it still looks like I missed a good run, nice drone footage :D
