Hi everyone!
Apparantly show n shine registrations have now closed. But I have also now been told we didn't need to register unless you want to be in the running for a prize. And that anyone in a Toyota can drive in to take part in the parade.

That said... We have missed out on getting a spot allocated all together as a club.
BUT....
I have contacted the organisers and they have recommended we arrive as early as possible and they will do their best to aid us in getting parked up together.

So, this is where we all need to meet at Drury BP at 7am. We can take stock of numbers and when the first lot arrive hopefully the organisers will find a spot we can all fit. For when the second lot arrive. Or if the weather is bad. Perhaps we will all just take the motorway and arrive as one group?

Anyway, I hope to see you all at the BP bright and early. Ready to represent the club and have a great day!! :D :D

Great Day Today .Toyotafest was a blast and big thanks to the Auckland MR2 Facebook group that rolled with us.Plenty of new friends to meet and old ones to reaquaint with.

So with 6AW ,2 Spyders and 34 SWS I think we have bragging rights for the most of one model there.

We rolled with 24 cars from BP Drury and met up with a lot at Hamptons.Got to see a rare "special edition" AW 11 one of the legendary 270 ever made. Had plenty of old friends and New visit.

Nice to see Joel in his mint Aw,Paul "four walls" bought out his yellow terror for a visit,David "NZLHD" also popped in
Really good day .Thanks guys

NZ MR2 mint red AW possibly the last new AW Sold in NZ was judged best original car so hey MR2 s are alive and well at Toyotafest. So if you know how to get of the man from RamaRama get him to PM me and we will arrange delivery of his prize

We had a mean run through the back roads on the way to Hampton. Even if it was just 4 of us. It was a quick 4 of us! I was slowed down near the end by a broken shifter knob from much spirited shifting... And Ivor with his sneaky sneaky turbo... "oh, by the way guys... I got a turbo last week!" :P

And massive turn out! I have not seen so many MR2's in one place before. You guys need to come on some of my runs!! :D :D
More details, pictures, videos to come. But for now.....
New welcome addition to my shed.... :D :D

BTW "NZ MR2"... I am looking after your prize. Get in touch :D

Thanks for the mean run this morning, Paul, and Charlie. I loved the empty roads. Getting up at 6am was a bit of an effort  but if that's what it takes to not encounter traffic, I'd do it again.
As for the turbo, I hope you don't mind my cheeky humor :P
You know, I have been giving hints during the last year of what's in store but didn't want to jinx it by bragging openly 8)
Cheers guys

Thanks for a great run Paul. Nice addition with the Ararimu Rd bit. 8)

Stoked with how my SW's new suspension is working now that I've got it set up. Soaks up the bumps, handles well, SWeet. 8)

Was very surprised to see Ivor's MRS keeping in touch when boosting it. Now we know why! Sneaky sneaky Ivor indeed...! 8)

I will post some pics etc on the main event's thread instead of here. Make like a Road Runner and stay tooned...

I'm definitely missing the roads, people, and cars. If there happens to be something on the 4th I'll be there.
