And when Mike says "cotton overalls" that does NOT mean poly-cotton which will melt, stick to you and burn like heck. Pure cotton, or a proper race suit.

Regards the helmet, I wear a motocross helmet (cheaper) and have never had an issue wearing it to a Playday. Mike are you able to clarify regards the helmet bizzo mate?

From memory there is a AN/NZ or DOT standard marked on the helmets for use. This standard was based more on the age than use. Event organiser usually stimulates what is required.

Ok guys here it is for the sake of no doubt. This is Playdays list

100% Cotton or fire proof overalls (please ensure they are oil/grease & paint free)
A crash helmet in good condition
Shoes (not sandals or jandals)
Drivers license
We also recommend cotton shirt, underclothes and socks (for fire safety).

Ignore my last comment re helmets.Thats only for some classes on certain tracks.

So everyone should be able to come up with something to wear

Just checking if there are any spots left. Have a work mate with a MR2 that may well join but saw the entries had to be in 2 weeks beforehand.

Good on you Ivor. AA Plus has saved my bacon on several occasions. Worth every cent! :D

Regards helmets, just remember they have to be a pretty decent fit to work properly in a serious crash. You don't want it to give you a headache but you don't want it moving around either.

Great to hear the track sessions are fully booked out! Good stuff! :D

 Regards Show n Shine, I might park mine up for it if it doesn't interfere with track time too much. Entry is included in the track fee eh? Will we simply register for it on the day / be given a Show n Shine entrant's sticker or something?

Didn’t think the weather would impact my trip North until I saw snowflakes on the first pass reports tomorrow morning. Not cold enough to stick but might slow me down through the corners.
