Great thanks I'll get myself booked.

Is there any links to close by motels, if people from Auckland are staying down there?

Cheers.

T-Tops are treated like Hardtops. They are fine to do the track time.

Two questions:
1. How fast will the cruise/parade laps be.
And
2. How much is the small fee for the safety gear?

Hi Logan

Parade Laps are fairly slow As they are a chance to get photos etc.I would say not much faster than 30 km if that.

As far as gear hire goes I am waiting to hear back from the track as to the amount and we will let you know.

Love to bring my car down, but I’m not spending much money on it at the moment (most goes to the house I’m finishing off) so a couple of questions on the track day side of things.
Do you have to comply to MSNZ rules for the track day?
i.e, my MSNZ licence is expired, my harnesses are expired. Car doesn’t currently have a reg/WOF
Will I have to update these to be able to join the track day?

You'll either need to have a road worthy car (so Reg and Wof) or have it up to MSNZ standards. One or the other (or both...). That is only to play on track. Bring it on a trailer to display it, should be okay for the parade laps too I'd imagine without either.

We have a seperate company running the Track Day so you won't need your MANZ licence. As far as harnesses go as long as they are not worn or damaged.

Rules say cars must be up to WOF standard. Ie safety first .Basically everything safe and secure. They don't need to have a WOF and Rego. In saying that no shit boxes.

We will be doing everything possible to get everyone on the track. I have spoken to the organiser about your email and the points above are direct from him.

Another question, will we be able to have a passenger for some of the sessions going? and may i ask what ones, and if i'd need to pay for that extra person that is not a club member himself

Oh, car is definitely up to MSNZ standards (apart from the FIA belts beig past their dates, but perfect garage queen quality), its just my personal MSNZ licence that i havent renewed (i have a national race licence). Car would pass a WOF, just i have the reg on hold while im not racing.

Hi David

For parade laps and familiarisation laps you can carry a passenger.

For Track sessions only caged cars can carry a passenger. Passenger to wear a helmet and safety gear.

Hope this clarifies it now

Hi guys, I’d love to bring my scruffy example just to add one to the count, will I need to pay to participate by just parking up? I’m totally happy to pay, just want to make sure :)
