Manawatu Fun Run - July

Post by optional »

Thats right we are trying to get back to some sort on normal, so that means that july should be a Manawatu run. So here it is:

WHEN : JULY 19TH 2020. 11:00 A.M.
WHERE : SHANNON, OPPOSITE THE HORSEMAN CAFE, ALONGSIDE THE RAILWAY LINE.

This will be a shortish run up to Ashurst and back through Colyton, Bunnythorpe and Kairanga.
Note the new meeting place, more in keeping with the fact that it is a Manawatu run, the real reason will become obvious later.
Those of you from Palmy may want to join us a bit closer to home, say at Summerhill. Let mr know if you are intending to do this and I will make sure we do meet.
Hope to see you a great turn-out of cars, after all it has been quite a while. If your MR2 is not running, bring something else.
Keith

If we're meeting up around Summerhill, I might just be tempted to start the Subi up (hasn't moved out of the garage since late January) and join you guys.

Hopefully nothing else comes up for the 19th

We're not hooning along at 400 million miles an hour, you know  you are able to follow at the back if you are more comfortable doing so, we also do stop often when the intersection changes our direction and we will let you know the next meeting point! But will be good to see you even if you do just come to Summerhill

Hey that's a great response so far. Seems like we have all been a starved of driving time over the last few months.
Please feel free to join in Julia. I will post someone as Tail End Charlie, with a radio to ensure that we do not leave you behind.

Wellington drivers to meet at the Plimmerton Weight station 0900 ish for a 0915 ish departure
its a 1hour trip so we will have plenty of time to stop for gas at Otkai BP for fuel and snacks.
