Wellington drivers to meet at the Plimmerton Weight station 0900 ish for a 0915 ish departure

Thanks for that Colin, I will be in Wellington that morning and it turns out there is a 21st party the night before, so I will be tentative for this event, if I am coming I'll see you guys there, if not then please get lots of photos as it seems like there is going to be a huge turnout

hi Julia, sorry to hear that you had left early and didn't get a chance to meet other member in the MR2 club. We usually have a longer time for meet and greets and photos when we first meetup at a location but seems like not this time, probably limited time. We actually had a good attendance this weekend with some of the MX5 people tagging along too. Hope to meet you next run with the Lower North MR2s.

What an awesome event. My first one and a good chance to meet a few more MR2 people. I too had to quit early (I went straight when you all turned left in Fielding for lunch) as it was the first sunny day in a long while and I had a long list of chores that needed doing back home. I'm generally only good for a few hours at these events.
It was my first real outing in my "new" Sonic Shadow (Rev 4) and what a blast. It was really cool to see the other Sonic (Rev 5) (both came up from the South Island and ended up in the Manawatu). It was great to meet a few fellow enthusiasts and wow over some very cool cars. The drive through the winding bits was a whole lot of fun too - MR2's really love corners.

No worries at all on that front, I've got the exact same thing, it was good to meet you. Once I get to know people I find it does get much easier and it's just trying to train yourself into realising that no one is judging you and everyone appreciates each others company regardless of the input from each person! Feel 100% free to keep on coming even if it is only for a few moments each time to warm up to us. We also encourage anyone to bring additional people either in their MR2, or with their own cars/motorbikes regardless of what they are. You saw there was a few MX5s and an Astra that came along
It was good to see everyone, what a fantastic run. Thanks for organizing it Keith. A good number of cars came, it was just fantastic. I'll have to get the Fun Run Sheet updated, send me a PM if you came if you especially care about getting points for that, I missed a couple of the people I think, Keith you might have to help me fill in the blanks
