Anyone going to Chrome this weekend?

Post by Mr-Paulio »

Hey all,
I am considering taking the ADub to Chrome on Sunday. Possibly just the hard park and hang out for a few hours. Might be tempted to register for the track on the day?

Anyway, anyone else interested? Or going?
We could perhaps make an even out of it?

Very last minute I know! :D

Okay, so weather dependant....
But currently I'm going with my Brother. Who will be driving the BlackRat while I drive the V6 Turbo. Planning to be there about 9 or just after and enter the hard park and show and shine.

If anyone is interested in tagging along with us I can give you a meet up spot out my way, we can get together.
Otherwise we will probably see you there! :D :D

Well I guess I miss understood the website details around hardpark/show n shine. But I wasn't the only one! It did sound like you could enter the event for free with your car for the show n shine. Turns out its $100 to enter the event show n shine with your car! But free to enter the hard park. Then pay $15 for the event entry. Which is basically parking out side the event like anyone and paying the same as everyone else to go inside.... just as per any event.... So why promote it?? And why mention show n shine also? Who the hell knows, but it was a rip off so we didn't stay!!

Instead we had a impromptu MR2 run through the back roads. Took some pics and had a great time!!

It was quite cool having both my cars out. And getting some pics of both that weren't on my property!

Then we went back to the man cave, tinkered with the cars and drunk beers. All and all a good day!!

So I will soon organise a club run incorporating some of these roads we travelled plus some of my Favs.
And probably a lunch stop at a local pub.
Stay tuned!! :D :D

Sounds like a mismanaged event, whether that was accidental due to lack of communication or trying to get that money as people turned up and they went "oh well I'm here I guess I can pay it". Strange. Cool photos!
