Unfortunately I actually do need a reasonable idea of who is coming (particularly who is eating lunch with us) As being under level 2 I need to try and book the venue based on numbers.

Everyone should plan to be there at 930, to be safe. And so we can have a chat, hang out and talk about the plans of the day etc.
We will leave 10am on the dot, so don't be late!

Glad we all had a good time!
A few eventful moments, a few cars that unfortunately had to go home early. But a great group of people that hung around to help and wait with the troublesome cars until the drivers were able to carry on their way.

Then the cows all came for a nosey look and to offer some advice!

My car even played up a bit hitting boost cut once and a vacuum leak at the end, which I am still to locate.
MR2 life right?!
And then there was that wrong turn I took, ssh...
And the intersection someone dropped a whole bunch of rocks through. (sorry!)

11 cars in total. x3 ZW's, x3 AW's and the remainders SW's.
We exited the motorway at Drury and zipped through Hunua and Ararimu where a few cars broke down at the same location. (Super close to my house) Back to the motorway and on to Meremere, exited (the second time) and followed the back roads back through the country, through "Hoonua" again and on to Clevedon. Arriving 1hr late and a few cars/drivers lighter, to our booking at Hallertau. Where we enjoyed some refreshments, food and general chitchat.
Later all going our own ways home.
And me trying to keep the revs up so my car didn't stall at every intersection!

It was great to get out again after all these restrictions and weather issues getting in the way!
I look forward to the next one! Perhaps out the otherwise of Auckland next time?
