Been a while since we've done one of these

Put the date in and we'll do something! Am looking at Go Karts, Lunch and then a good drive to shake off some cobwebs. More details to come

We're booked in for 15 people at Daytona Raceway 25 Blenheim Street, Maidstone, Upper Hutt for an 11am drive, so lets meet there at approx. 1045am so we're ready, and paid up for the 11am race! We are doing 20 minutes at $35 each.

We'll then take a Left back out of Daytona, head down Lane Street and left onto Walliceville Road. We'll go via Flux road and take another left onto Manaroa Hill Road. We'll end up on SH2 and head North up to the Te Marua Lakes Overlook. After soaking in the view, we'll head North for a bit longer before making a Right onto Kaitoke Loop Road and then come south down SH2. We'll take a Left onto Plateau Road and follow the back roads all the way through Maymorn, Mangaroa, Whitemans Valley and Blue Mountains to end up in Silverstream. Back out South onto SH2, we'll take a Right onto Haywards Hill Road SH57 and have lunch at Ground Up in Pauatahanui and split apart from here

We'll be at Ground Up probably around the 1pm 130pm mark, depending on how the rest of the day goes

Sounds good, I will come along, not interested in the go karts but will spectate and do the drive and lunch bit.

Hi Olaf,
I am in the middle of organising a Go-Kart challenge at Daytona in Palmy. This was intended to be the Manawatu July run. Since this is a the long discussed challenge event against Ulysses I would prefer that you did not run another go-kart event as it would might reduce the numbers and weaken our effort.

Or this could be seen as a warm-up + if it's in Palmy I can bring the Top E-Racer of New Zealand (in Gran Turismo Sport) along with us
I don't think this would weaken our effort at all! I'll be there for the July event and again, I'll ensure the fastest drivers attend, just let me know how many drivers you need to attend

Good little outing with some MR2s coming out to play! A nice drive until the weather came down and we had to slow it down... it happens. A nice lunch too, a humble attendance. Even got one of the virtual racers to come along and join us. Of course I got fastest lap and passed everyone at least twice
