Ah, it's Wellington's turn for a run!

Wellington is a tricky beast to master a run with. We lack empty roads and convoys are normally split apart within minutes of taking off from a location

It's part of the charm! So lets enjoy that chaos regardless, and meet at Makara Beach at 3pm on Sunday the 22nd of August 2021. You can get there via Karori or Johnsonville, you pick

Once here, I'll ask if people are able to donate whatever they can, silver, gold coin, maybe a note to the upcoming Virtual Racing event I am hosting

The funds are going 50/50 split between the Starship Foundation and I Am Hope, two great organisations doing their part to help out the younger people in our world. You can of course simply donate straight to the page above. I will have a unopenable tin on hand and will do a manual deposit close to the date of the charity run (2nd of Oct 2021)

From Makara Beach at around 345pm, we'll shoot back towards Johnsonville, take the back roads into Churton Park, Tawa and Porirua. We'll then jump on the Motorway and head for the Burger Fuel in Kapiti. It is here where I'm going to organise a Burger Meet at the Burger Fuel, where we can have burgers and hang around until it's time to head off. I imagine I'll be there till around 7pm or so

I have been alerted to the fact that the road to Makara Beach may have slightly washed away... oh no!

If on the day we cannot access Makara Beach, we will instead meet at the Alex Moore Park Carpark just off Bannister Avenue in Johnsonville. I will do my best to update the pages if we need to use the alternative once I know closer to the day

From there we can still cruise the backroads to Porirua and then on to Kapiti. There are a couple dairies near to the car park for a quick sugar replenishment if required

This is postponed indefinitely! For obvious reasons and stuff. Will have to see what we can do - stay safe everyone!
