Manawatu October Run.

By my calculations October should be our turn again. ( I must admit that with Covid and all I am a little confused.)
The date is Saturday 16th October, meeting at the Palm Railway Station for a 10 :30 start. (Sorry about the Saturday but no other Sundays were available.)
The plan is: a gentle run up to Dannevirke and back using as little of the main Highway as possible.
For those of you who don't know the area this means visiting towns such as Pongaroa and Papatawa. ( look them up on Google maps, although you will have to enlarge it a bit to find them.) Unfortunately those of us who live in Manawatu cannot avoid the main highway to get over the hill, so we will use both Pahiatua Track and Saddle road. I suggest you bring a camera as there should be some great photo ops if the weather plays ball.
As there is some uncertainty regarding cafes and numbers I suggest that you bring some lunch ( or buy it in Dannevirke ) and we will have a"picnic in Dannevirke Domain. Perhaps those from Hawkes Bay might want to join us there around noon.
