The second Sunday in February has become a highlight in every New Zealand car lover’s calendar. Thousands of car enthusiasts visit Ellerslie Racecourse to enjoy this country’s biggest line up of classics – many of them regarded among the world’s best restorations.
Aside from the Concours cars and a number of exciting new events, about 80 car clubs will create the biggest display of car marques from all around the globe. These displays compete for the title of "Best Club Display".
https://www.concours.org.nz/

Back for next year (the COVID postponed 2022 show) are attractions introduced last show:
the 50-50-50 competition for younger cars and younger entrants.
a display of classic hot rods
Unfinished projects - a display of unrestored cars, barn finds, partial builds & other bits & pieces
New for next show will be:
A display of Concours Standard Modified vehicles
A display of rally cars
A special display of Jaguars - celebrating 100 years of production.

We have been allocated a stand and i can fit 6 cars though im going to try to fit more. WHat we need is good MR2's for the day> You will get a free ticket to the show and you will also get to talk to heaps of people and show off your car.

the show is set up as a charity and all proceeds get distributed between clubs so it is a great source of funds for the club as well as being a chance to get new members

So basically i want

Aw11 -SC
SW20 -turbo and N/A
ZZ30 Be great to have a sps and a Manual

Any really good modded 2s as well.

Please let me know if your car could be availible for the day as i am planning the stand layout now. Theres also some cruises and the opportunity to work at the show and earn a free ticket if you dont want to put your car in.If any of you would like to help out at the show, doing a shift on either the
gates, parking, or traffic directing please let us know. Shifts are either 2 or 3 hoursand you get free entry to the show

Early bird tickets are available at iticket for a reduced price so how about getting
some for stocking fillers or Secret Santa’s.

Hi everyone,
Counting down the weeks… Hope your cars are all getting a good clean.
We are planning on meeting up on the morning to put the windscreen stickers on,
The carpark at Greenlane Countdown/McDonalds (quickbrekkie too)
REMEMBER THERE IS 2 ROADS OFF GREENLANE EAST TO ACCESS THE
RACECOURSE. IF TRAFFIC IS BACKED UP AT THE FIRST, USE THE SECOND SET OF
LIGHTS
There is now going to be a large Marquee on the Leger Lawn, so the USA & Japanese Clubs have
been shuffled over. There will be marshals on both areas to help the clubs set up. Access to the
areas remains the same. The map on the website will be updated.

With the state of Emergency in Auckland and the need to be prepared for a cyclone, the Ellerslie committee have made the call to postpone Sunday’s show until 23rd April.
The run on Saturday will proceed at this stage.
