I've been asked why the thread is now way down the list.
It is because I have removed the Announcement flag, and this is now just a plain old message thread. Dennis some time ago, asked that, after each run, we remove the Announcement flag to ensure this area doesn't become a page of Announcements.
The run was great fun, a drive to the Southwest of Hamilton on backroads, ensured drivers and equipment had as much fun as they wanted.
We had great fun running around, then had a BBQ and a chin wag at a locals place. Good company, good fun and some great ideas for later in the year.
The newbies had a great time, and the club scored members with one of each type of MR2. An AW11 in very good condition, possibly previously owned by No8Wired, an SW20 N/A, and an MRS with good looking body kit.
It looks like some extra social gatherings will happen with evenings on town, progressive dinners, pot luck dinners, movie nights, music nights and coffee mornings all being suggested.
It's going to be great......

Everyone had a great time, in fact they enjoyed it so much, they went back in for a second game.
Bound to do that again in the future. It was a great way to break the ice for all the new members too.

Buddy hell, they managed a run and a game of laser strike and a BBQ.....VQwikMR2Driva wrote:Most of us managed to get a group shot before the run and for the BBQ afterwards. Not sure about on the run or in the dark.
I was a bit busy trying to drive legally and run around in the dark....
We just go drive hard out
