I have received sad news today that Colin Cross passed away on December 3rd 2020, aged 73 years. Our condolences go out to his family and friends. He did a lot of work for the club in years gone by including a stint as the President.
Unfortunately I'm unable to find any pictures of him or his car, so feel free to share these if you have them, and anything you'd like to say, especially if you have some fond memories with him!

Bugger, Colin was a good bloke and a real nice guy. I had a few dealing with him through the club committee as well as racing at Levels.

In 2007 he stepped down as President and continued on Committee.
He was made Life Member in March 2014.
The first photo shows Colin leading Ray Harris at Ruapuna in April 2008, as shown on the front of the club magazine.
The second photo shows Colin enjoying his car on the tracks. He loved motorsport. He was a member of the Motorsport Division of the MR2 Owners Club until it was disbanded.
Colin will be sadly missed by all who knew him
