Excellent, so much good reading material out there, and helpful club members too! Yeah Sunny has mentored me in what I'm doing, though I can't remember any of what he said (expect a PM at some point man!!), but I'll be making sure I'm doing it right (or trying my best, bound to f something up)

Step closer to the turbo going in, as it has come out of the turbo car!
Car up on ramps, Colin being very constructive!
It had been pissing down the day before, worst rain we've had for a few months, next day it was soaked outside but the sun was out! Wet driveway to work on
As most of you will know, back sills are too far forwards and the car would rock backwards, but Phillip sorted that problem for us!

All in all a good day, thanks a whole bunch Colin, Phillip and Russell for the help, no way I could of done it without you guys. Much easier then I thought it would be!

Car is mine again, keeping it until the red thing is up and fully roadworthy. Did the rear brakes yesterday, new rotors and pads, took me 5 hours! It's not freaking easy when the handbrake cables are sticky. Should of undone them but I'm not strong enough to reattach them if I do. Winding back the pistons took an hour of that time, really really stiff, used half my trolley jacks handle as a torque wrench ontop of a socket! No more metal on metal rear brakes!!

Really pays to keep the rear brakes working properly. Once they start to sieze up its a downward spiral. I haven't seen many MR2's which didn't require some rear brake work.

I rebuilt the pistons on all 4 calipers early last year, but I didn't do any of the other seals, and now the handbrake cables are starting to sieze. I sold the car late 2014, to a club member who installed a gen 4 3sgte. It was then bought by an old forum member who's no longer active, Sketchy. It has a 3MZ in it now.
