There is a good chance your existing one is good to use. Strip it and inspect it, replace the seals if it all measures up okay and has no major scoring inside the pump. So long as there has been no solids go through the pump its probably okay to use once the seals are replaced... its the best lubricated part of the engine :) Make sure the relief valve is set correctly and sliding smoothly!

Still busy with this :)

Have gotten the block back. Have started the cleaning process over the past three months.

What I have done:
1.) Cleaned all grime off the Block and resprayed Ford Blue
2.) Cleaned and polished the head
3.) Cleaned and decarboned all valves and other parts.
4.) Cleaned and oiled the crank
5.) Cleaning all cam holders

There will be further updates to follow. There are some pictures but very few.

I wil have to take more it seems I have misplaced them and not uploaded them to photobucket. :(

An update after such a long time.

The engine is ready to go back into the body. This will take place tomorrow.

Any one interested in donating some gearbox oil, a battery and some coolant :) :)

These are the last things I need to get her back up and running. Let's hope she lasts now :D

After almost 6 years I have finally just started adding fluids to the car.

I am impressed that I have not given up on this.

Bled the Clutch, new oil, gear oil, filters, battery.

Just need to finish up the electrics.

SOOOOOOOOOooooOOOOO excited.
