Put down 2 for me (BENCKJ x2) as wife will be participating. She is still trying to beat me in the drags.

Wouldn't really worry me actually. She is a good driver but is more cautious as she doesn't want to break anything.

During a couple of track days at Levels outside of Timaru, the local speed club lets us use the clubrooms which most of us camp in. Nice to stay on site and mix with the fellow racers. Wife isn't so happy as she generally likes a comfy bed.

During years of stock car racing we always used to sleep at the tracks in our Hotel Hiace with a Gazebo outside.

Double height self inflating airbeds is the key here.. I've got a double single each(one for me, one for her!) They are amazing.

We go camping at least once a year on Auckland Anniversay weekend and use the Chateau' Canvas. Three days racing and three nights drinking :D
Nothing beats the atmosphere of like minded people drinking and playing "Card against Humanity".

UPDATE:

 Last night we hit the magic number 45 Cars which means we are all GO !!!.

But keep talking it up we want more than this (I need 65 at least)

Ferry and Accommodation deals will be released next Tuesday .

I have been asked about MR-S racing. Unfortunately unless you have a roll bar you cant race . You can do Drag Racing , parade laps and Ghymkana and Show N Shine though and have a really great time .

If you know or see any other MR2 drivers make sure you ask them If they are coming too :?:

Btw, the front windscreen frame has an internal rollbar, too and is a lot sturdier than what it appears.

Me and my partner are keen to come in my 2, there are a few people from hamilton that im pretty sure are keen to tag along with me as well. And a couple in auckland that are also interested in coming too, but didnt see them on your list. Is there a place that you can best keep track of names and stuff? might pay to follow up on facebook with names to see if anyone else is missing

Otherwise im keen! Do we know if there are any rules/requirements for track attire for different events?
