Re: GDII's 1990 G-Limited
Richard will give you the design if you send him a PM. He is not very active these days but I will try and find his forum name. The struts I bought were sold in pairs and I installed one on each car so you may need to on-sell.

I am sure I can get two sets of brackets made and sell one off. Thanks for your help. I will look into it further.

I'll buy a strut if I can get a bracket with it
I write a lot of posts, but that does not mean you will see them.

Same here. Last one I bought was too short to attach to anything.
Those stainless ones look awesome.

Best design I've seen. Even the US ones don't compare IMO.
Richard deserves the credit as its one of the few things I didn't make myself. Think his forum name was '"TOYMAD"

Nothing new added to the car.
I had a go at 'light painting'. Just wanted to try it out. I need to park the car where there is no light and photoshop multiple exposures together to get a proper effect. I just bought a battery powered LED work light which will help next time I try this.

Awesome effect. Does each exposure have the flash in a different place?

Re: GDII's 1990 G-Limited
These shots have no flash and are single exposures. Just the camera set to 30sec shutter and me 'painting' the car with a small 6 LED torch. That's why only small parts of the car are lit up.
The street light really didn't help the shots. Ideally there shouldn't be any.
I want to get either this effect
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7017/6650 ... 35a8ed.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
or this effect

I don't think I will be able to get the same high quality look as those two examples but I'll give it a go. Should be able to come up with something unique.

You could also get a similar effect with the 'lighting effects' filter in photoshop.

Re: GDII's 1990 G-Limited
I'm not really into editing my photos. I like to use just the camera to get what I want. I'd only use photoshop in this instance to merge multiple exposures as it is very hard to get the whole car in 30 seconds. Unless I had another person to hold the shutter open or a shutter lock.

Re: GDII's 1990 G-Limited
I gave the car a wash, first time in over a month...
Then I had another go at light painting. But before I could do that the lens on my DSLR decided it didn't want to work. The aperture fails to adjust between 18-24 but after that it seems to work. Spent a few hours trying to figure it out.

Continuing the light painting theme, but this time I think I cracked it.
